October 2006. Two day hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. The first day, we hiked to Emerald Lake from the Bear Lake trailhead, through Tyndall Gorge. It was a perfect day! On the trail, we passed Bear Lake, Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, and arrived at Emerald Lake. Hallet Peak and Flattop sit at the end of Tyndall Gorge.
The following day, we hiked to Mills Lake and Jewel Lake on the Glacier Gorge Trail. The high was just over 40 degrees,it was cloudy, and ligthly snowing off and on throughout the day.
