August 14-18, 2008. A 5 day trans-Sierra backpacking trip from North Lake near Bishop on the east side of the Sierras, ending at Florence Lake on the west side.
1st Day - North Lake to Piute Lake
2nd Day - Piute Lake to Piute Pass (11,423') to Desolation Lake (Humpheys Basin, Glacier Divide, Humphreys Peak)
3rd Day - Desolation Lake to Hutchinson Meadow (Piute Canyon)
4th Day - Hutchinson Meadow to Muir Trail Ranch to San Joaquin River near Florence Lake
5th Day - San Joaquin River to Florence Lake
