Taken near Tioga Pass, Yosemite National Park. We hiked to a saddle at about 10,600 ft just below Gaylor Peak. We came from San Diego (sea level) that morning, so hiking at over 10,000 left us dizzy and sucking for air! cessna > Heidi above Dana Meadows. We intended to hike to Gaylor Lakes, but there was too much snow on the trail to make it down to the lakes. It was hard for me to get used to seeing so much snow when it was 90 degrees!
