These are panoramic pictures from a 5 day backpacking trip in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. Panoramas were stitched together using an easy to use program called Autostitch (
http://www.autostitch.net). The best way to view these panoramas is to select the original size image (or at least x2 or x3) and scroll across. Some of these images would be more than 15 feet long if printed at full size.
This trans-Sierra trip started at North Lake near Bishop on the east side of the Sierras, and ended at Florence Lake on the west side. Some of the highlights of this hike included Piute Lake, Piute Pass, Humphreys Basin, the Glacier Divide, Mount Humphreys, Hutchinson Meadow, Piute Canyon, San Joaquin River, and Florence Lake.
